If you're running a Port Fuel Injection system like those used on 3rd generation Firebirds, Camaros, and 85-91 Corvettes and 5.0 Mustangs (through 1996), you're not getting the full potential of electronic fuel injection. These systems fire all injectors simultaneously (batch fired) or in two groups of four (bank fired).
Batch/Bank fired systems don't take into account the phase of each cylinder at any given moment. The fact is; each injector should be open when the intake port air velocity is highest (around 110 degrees ATDC during the intake stroke).
Late model SEFI systems fire the fuel injectors sequentially and at the proper time for each cylinder. The SYNCHRO-JECT will upgrade your old batch/bank fire system to true "Sequential Electronic Fuel Injection".
The SYNCHRO-JECT works in conjunction with your current ECM and MEMCAL so there's nothing else to buy. It also works with after-market systems and even throttle body ECMs used with port injection hardware.
